In a small cliffside village where it was always night, only one lonesome star existed in the vast sky. Day after day, the people of the village would wish upon the star, and the star would grant them even at his own expense. Among the villagers, there was only one young boy who asked nothing of the star, and a strong friendship is formed between the two.
